| Objectives of Project | 1) The basic aim is to bring public education almost right to the door steps of the targeted group or participants involved.2) Inspired by the asset-based community development theory (ABCD Theory), built upon American academics, Jody Kretzmann and John McKnight, in their work entitled, “Building Communities from the Inside Out: Asset-Based Community Development” (1993), sessions from the MHCL is hoped to create a form of loose, informal networks amongst residents for them to share and build upon each other’s experiences and areas of expertise. |

| Project Deliverables | 1) Creating a community-driven development rather than development driven by external agencies (community self-helping themselves, and not over-reliant on public agencies).2) It is also hoped that these residents will be able to better utilize the facilities and services within their neighborhood, and build upon the value of active citizenry. |
